Reggie Germain

Hailing from Queens, Reggie Germain is on a trajectory towards architectural sustainability and is currently a green-roofing industry professional. His primary interests are woodworking and natural building, and this is why the Ecotone Apprenticeship Program was a tailored fit for his journey. Not only did the Ecotone Shop provide an ideal place to practice carpentry, but the nurturing environment of the program allowed him to concentrate on and polish his skills with direct intention. In addition, gaining an apprenticeship placement through Ecotone and being an onsite understudy of an experienced woodworker granted him the ability to receive sage and knowledgeable instruction. In the upcoming years, Germain sees himself continuing to serve the building community by working to maneuver towards a speedier approach to developing and implementing “green strategies” in architecture. Reggie continues to serve as an industry connector between Ecotone and Green Roofing Industry professionals. He is also now helping to teach and coach the next generation in the Ecotone ARC40 sessions.
