Tono Cisneros

Tono Cisneros details himself as a “human-based designer.” Tono volunteered to improve online educational materials for the Ecotone Apprenticeship Program, where he found the perfect conduit to begin honing his unconventional approach to generating online educational material. The program has enhanced his design skills, given him the first-hand experience on how young humans can learn physical trade work via online platforms, and implanted a rooted understanding of current digital educational needs. He hopes to continue translating the in-person Ecotone Training into a virtual medium, a series of engaging and digestible tutorials.

From Tono:

“Red Hook is full of quality craftspeople but the work from Ecotone really stands out. clean. professional and overall masterful. You can also tell they care about the community and is shown in their FREE training program for kids teaching useful life skills. this place makes this neighborhood feel like a community.”
